Praise God
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his
mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him
according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet
sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with dance
and tambourine; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him
with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Psalm 150:1-5 (ESV)
Purpose
Despite the vastness of our universe and over seven billion
people who coexist on our planet Earth, you and I are still
unique, important and supremely significant!
God, the all-powerful and great Creator of this gigantic canvas
of billions of celestial bodies spanning this entire universe,
cares specifically about each of us. God knows what we are
doing and thinking at all times; we can’t escape His presence,
and He planned our earthly existence before we were born.
His thoughts toward us outnumber the grains of sand in all the
beaches and oceans of the world. Thus, with the God of the
universe so intensely interested in us, we can respond:
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Psalm 139:14
